Architect designed villas and townhouses

This unique idea has been executed by 23 of Europe’s finest architects. Among them is leading British architect David Chipperfield, renowned Portuguese architect Carrilho da Graca and Alvaro Siza Vieira, the Norman Foster of Portuguese architecture. This outstanding group of individuals were given complete freedom to make the best use of land for their designs, with one stipulation – all houses must have green, grass-covered roof, to harmonise the verdant resort and to conserve energy.

Simplicity of design, natural light, first-class quality and diversity of houses according to each individual site – these are the main elements of Bom Sucesso. Modern architecture details such as blind walls, clean lines and vast expanses of glass are mixed with traditional, Portuguese-style inner courtyards. 90 per cent of the houses will be single-storey and most villas will have their own private swimming pool.

The townhouses are sets of houses in a single lot, sharing a large garden area and swimming pool. With a maximum of two floors, the houses are all covered in greenery and have private courtyards and a private garden area. The townhouses are one, two or three bedroom houses, some with covered parking or a private garage. In addition, there are also a range of villas and plots of land. The variety of designs to choose from is exceptional, and each house is original and unique. Each house has been individually designed to maximise the benefits of its plot on the development. The living space of the villas range between 200m² / 2,153 sq.ft and 350m² / 3,767sq.ft.

The plot areas for villas range between 600m² / 6458 sq.ft and 3,000m² / 32,290 sq.ft. Their prices vary according to their location and the architectural project to be constructed on the lot. The villas are three, four and five bedroom.

Bom Sucesso is located near the medieval town of Óbidos on the Silver Coast, a beautiful region on the west coast, 50 minutes from Lisbon.
