Nurai villas are probably the best example of contemporary real estate in Abu Dhabi you can find. There will be only 47 villas, along with a boutique hotel, and the first villa is already completed.
A modern and ultra luxury resort with 49 luxury villas along with a boutique hotel is currently being built on Nurai Island, one kilometer from "Saadiyat" that will host the city's cultural district (Louvres and Guggenheim Museum among other world class attractions).
The journey to Nurai Islan takes 5 minutes by boat from the Nurai terminal lounge that would be on the planned Saadiyat Island marina and 5 minutes by helicopter from the international airport.
You can choose between two kinds of Nurai villas:
- Water villas
- Beachfront estate villas
Each of the 28 Water Villas are situated directly on the shore next to the crystal clear sea. The 4-bedroom villas feature a private terrace, infinity pool, outdoor barbeque area, gourmet kitchen and concealed service quarters.
The 21 beachfront estates villas have either 5 or 6-bedrooms. No detail has been overlooked and each villa will has its own private beach and garden, infinity swimming pool, entertainment patios, outdoor dining areas, chef and show kitchens and outdoor showers.

The villasi are designed by New York based Studio Dror and AW2 in Paris is responsible for the interior design.
In addition, as an owner of one of the contemporary Abu Dhabi villas, you will have full access to all entertainment and recreation facilities on the island, including restaurants, lounges, cigar bar, helipad, a large marina that can accomodate super yachts, Spa and fitness center. One of the three planned restaurants on Nurai will be Siddharta restaurant by George V (creator of Buddha Bar).
Both the Nurai boutique hotel and the Spa will be operated by a premium brand.
A rental programme will be offered to residence owners.
The first of only 49 villas is already completed and the hotel is scheduled to open June 2011.
